I have found myself lonesome, and I fear-

I'm sure you'll get more than a few laughs out of me falling off a horse, too.

[ Not that she won't try regardless. ]

But not to fear. That's as good a reason as any other, isn't it? I'll even bring Dane along with me. He's big enough to run around a farm by now, I'd say.

Oh, yes, could we please? I know you may think me soft, and silly, but I do so love camping, and winter camping is the most pleasing, even when you are cold it is so still and quiet-

Camping for fun. I'm not sure that's an idea I'll ever get used to, but if that's what you would like to do, I'll be sure to pack something warm.

And done up the whole of Cair Paravel to suit her, as well.

One sister. Two brothers.

My father was away to war when I was so small that I almost do not remember him. And my mother, she sent us away during a war, and I was-

She sent us away on a serpent, I think. It is very strange, for I recall it poorly. But I was near to eight, I think, when we defeated the White Witch, and regained Narnia. I remember them not at all.

I would say you're from a very odd world, but this one's hardly much better. Still, it's good to hear you and all your brothers and sisters managed to stick together through all of that.

[ Something she says with a wistful note, if only a very faint one. ]

He's no mage, though, and therein lay the biggest chasm between us.
