"Probably"? How ominous.[ but, okay. At some agreed-upon time, Kasumi shows up not in her tactical suit but one of her other hooded outfits and waits for Hawke outside some agreed-upon coffee shop.

Except she's invisible. Because of course she is, and because she wants to get the jump on Hawke. ]

[ And Hawke, of course, shows up in another red tank top and pair of jeans. The madness will never end.

On reaching the agreed-upon coffee shop, she'll look around. Obviously Kasumi isn't there. Well, possibly not there. She knows the woman can go invisible, so it's about a fifty-fifty chance. Regardless, she'll drop down into a chair at one of the outdoor tables to wait. ]

[ Hey, it says a lot about this friendship that Hawke realizes that 5/10 times Kasumi will be sneaky about meeting up. To that effect, she reappears out of her cloak seated in the chair across the table from Hawke almost like she'd been sitting there the whole time. whether or not she actually was, we may never find out. ]

[ And it helps that she just so happens to have been previously acclimated to friendships with strange people. Not that any of this helps when Kasumi does appear, because she still jumps, having been looking at another spot warily when it happens. ]

Maker's breath, Kasumi, is that really-- [ No, no, of course it's necessary. She sighs. ] I mean, hello.

[ Kasumi chuckles; she will never tire of this. Sorry. ]

[ And now she's taller! Briefly. That'll end once Hawke also stands up! Okay, okay, I'll stop. ]

Is there? [ A good sign is it at least piques her interest. She's already had enough adventures in thrift stores here that it doesn't sound too cringe-worthy. ] I like those. You always find the strangest things...

[ Then she'll gesture for Kasumi to lead on. She'll follow, honest! ]

[ Lead? Nah. Kasumi's going to hook her arm around the other woman's and walk alongside her. Sorry not sorry. ]

Right? And then you've got to wonder where some of this stuff came from...

[ Oh. Well, that's just as acceptable, so she isn't about to hear Hawke complain. ]

Murder most foul? The bins of trash behind every building? Mysterious holes in time and space that only spit out very specific used items?

[ All could apply, easily. ]

I'm gonna go ahead and say "all of the above."

Let's just try not to come out of there with several tables.

Though if you see any paintings of dogs doing really dumb things, I can think of a few places for those.

Although, on that topic, she does have to take a quick look around them. No dogs following her around just yet-- oh, no, there's one trying to escape its owner and leash. ]

Speaking of dogs, we might want to get indoors sooner than later, so come on.

[ Luckily, they're only a few more steps away from the shop, and once they get to the door, Kasumi pulls Hawke along into the inside. ]
